BARTLETT CONTINUES TO REINFORCE SQUAD

Weston can now announce a further addition in Jake Reid as well as the departure of loanee Jon Moran.

Head coach Scott Bartlett commented on the latest squad amendments, “Jake is a big powerful target man who leads the line well. He has good experience and is someone well known to myself and our staff, Chris Barker and Ian Harris.

Our strikers Brad and Gethyn are in excellent form and have provided us with a real threat as well as goals and fantastic work rate up front. We have added Jake Lee and Jake Reid to help with that. They will provide healthy competition and give us lots of options.

Jon Moran’s loan is finished now and has returned to FGR. We also have a couple of loan signings that will be expiring soon, when you add that to the recent departures of Kaid Mohamed and Joe McClennan it was important we made quality additions.

We have a brilliant scouting network and spend hours out at games, we have recruited very well and everyone that has come in has done so for the right reasons, we don’t have the resources of some clubs in our league but we have a lot going for us and are giving young lads a platform to do well.”
