BEACHBOYS VISIT TO THE SEASIDE
On Saturday, Concord Rangers will travel to the Woodspring Stadium to face a sliding Seagulls side.
The Seagulls have lost their last five games and haven’t won since beating Welling away on the 13th of August 2-0. Weston will be determined to get themselves back on track, and with the fans behind them on Saturday, the players will feel that anything is possible.
Concord have suffered, potentially, one of their worst starts in history. With 3 points coming from the first 9 games, and yet to win a game, confidence will be at an all-time low for ‘The BeachBoys’ with the Seagulls waiting to pounce tomorrow.
On Monday’s performance, Head Coach Ryan Northmore stated “On Monday our performance was much improved. We need to build on that and take some more positive steps. I’m encouraging the players to do what we do best and we are working hard to achieve the right results.”
On the fixture list and the players “The fixture list has been ridiculous and it’s much harder on us and Truro than any of the other sides but we have maintained training and got on with it. The players have to believe they are good enough to meet the demands. I brought them in to deliver because I believe they can and I still believe in them. We have two home games, and the message is simple. Show some courage and work hard together.”
