CLAYTON DEPARTS THE WOODSPRING

The Club regretfully wish to announce the departure of Clayton Fortune.

Scott is building a squad for the future and bringing in players who have the potential of long term development and service to the club. As such Clayton is not part of Scotts plans going forward. Clayton has given loyal service to the Club throughout two spells at the Woodspring Stadium and has been a very popular member of the squad. During the current season Clayton has been a good captain.

In releasing Clayton from his contract now we hope this will assist him in finding another club very shortly.

Clayton said “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at the club. The players are amazing both on and off the pitch. Some of the weirdest but best I’ve come across in football. The fans and staff, from the stewards to the Boardroom have been great since day one and I wish the club the very best in the future. I will keep an eye on the results and the club will have a place in my heart and maybe I’ll return in another capacity”.
