CLUB ACADEMY APPOINTS NEW HEAD OF RECRUITMENT
Ben Obamwonyi has been appointed as the WsM AFC Academy Head of Recruitment. Ben has coached locally for several years now, and has a great deal of knowledge and passion for the game. Ben will be in attendance at grass roots games locally when he is not managing the Weston’s U15s side.
When asked about the his role, Ben said, “As some people may already be aware, I am now the clubs head of recruitment. I am really excited about the role and I am looking forward to helping the club in this department. I feel that we have a great team behind the academy and together I know we are all on the same page.
“We all want Weston AFC grow and to be successful. I am not in this position to get in the way of managers squads, but I will go out and seek out talent once the coaches identify an area in their squad they they feel requires improvement.”
