FA TROPHY DRAW PITS SEAGULLS AGAINST THE GENERALS
After beating Welling United away in the Third Round Qualifying, Weston AFC were in the pot for the next draw in the Buildbase FA Trophy that took place today, (Monday 27th), at 1pm.
This time around it sees the Seagulls facing Southern Premier opponents Chesham United away at ‘The Meadow’, this fixture will be played on Saturday 16th December, kick off 3pm.
“It’s a tough draw for us” reacted Marc McGregor to the draw, “We’d been hoping for a home tie, but that’s the beauty of cup competitions, anything can happen. We will need to be at our best to get something from the fixture, they showed how capable they are by getting a result when they played Gloucester. Needless to say though we are looking forward to the challenge.”
