Farnborough won 3-1 thanks to two second-half strikes.
Farnborough had the early chances in the game when Reggie Young dragged wide from outside the area, before Luke Purnell superbly kept out a Connor Cullen toe-poke from close range. Andrew Sealy-Harris dragged his effort wide of the far post after being played in behind.
Brandon Barnes curled a shot wide from 25 yards, with Weston’s first real attempt of the game. Brad Ash fired over on his left foot as Weston caught their visitors on the counter. For Farnborough, Sealy-Harris then curled an attempt into the arms of Purnell from 18 yards.
Farnborough broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark when Connor Davies clipped Cullen from behind as the striker got in behind the back-line. Young then duly converted from 12 yards to gain the lead.
Brad Ash drove wide on his left foot after sprinting into the box as he won the ball, before the Seagulls equalised.
Isaac Pearce kept hold of the ball and laid it off to Dan Martin, who whipped the ball to the back post for Aaron Parsons, who stooped and powered in a header on the stroke of half-time.
Chances were few and far between in the second half, with Courtney Fearn curling a free-kick just wide of the post from 20 yards.
The visitors regained the lead however when the ball came out to Seth Owens 35 yards from goal, and his powerful drive from distance was too hot to handle for Purnell, who couldn’t keep the shot out as it rebounded off the post and into the net.
Parsons glanced a header just wide from a Ryan Jones corner, before Farnborough struck close to the end.
Andrew Sealy-Harris drove a shot toward goal from 25 yards out, which deflected off a Weston player and into the net for 3-1.
