KEARY AND WITHEY SIGN FOR SEAGULLS
We are delighted to announce that former Bristol Rovers defender Pat Keary has joined the Seagulls for the upcoming campaign.
Versatile defender Keary plied his trade for Bath City last term, making 25 appearance and netting one goal.
After bolstering his defensive ranks, Ryan Northmore commented “We are delighted to bring Pat into the club from Bath. He is someone I have wanted to bring in for a while and I am delighted we were able to secure his signature.
He has settled in really well and he has impressed from the beginning.
We are also delighted to announce that right-sided defender Ben Withey has joined the Seagulls for the upcoming season.
Withey has been on trial with the club throughout pre-season preparations, impressing in training before giving standout performances in the intra-squad friendly and in Wednesday’s narrow defeat to Exeter City.
Seagulls’ boss Ryan Northmore said: “Ben is a lively full back and did well in the recent friendly with Exeter. He is still in an early stage of his career and is keen to learn and improve.
He has shown some promise in training and it’s now up to him to take the opportunity with both hands.
