In March 2017, Mawford joined Dorchester Town of the Southern Premier Division on non-contract terms, scoring two goals in seven appearances to help keep the Magpies up.
In 2017-2018, after leaving Weston, Mawford made four appearances for Cheddar, scoring four goals in those appearances, before moving on to Western League Premier Division side Street, scoring four goals in 22 appearances and helping Street earn their first promotion into the Southern League.
In the 2018-2019 campaign, Mawford moved on to Gloucester, making 40 appearances and scoring three goals.
Director and Club Secretary Richard Sloane said: “We are very pleased to sign Jake who is Weston through and through. He brings commitment, dedication and a sense of purpose to the squad.
“At the Awards Presentations last night, it was made clear we are building a squad with many of the players from the season just ended and bringing in a few new faces to complement those and Jake is one of those new faces who we have signed this morning.”
We are delighted to welcome Jake back to the club.
