MEDIA MANAGER AND MATCH DAY OPERATIONS MANAGER APPOINTED

Weston-super-Mare AFC are pleased to announce the appointment of Liam Drury as Media Manager, and Nathan Brown as Match Day Operations Manager.

Liam joined the club in 2015 and originally began reporting on the under 18s team & other Academy sides. In 2016, he progressed to reporting on the first team as the Club Journalist before being appointed as Club Media Officer in 2018. Liam heads into his ninth season with the Seagulls.

When asked about his new role, Liam said: “I’m delighted to have accepted the role of Media Manager at the football club.

“I’m happy to be taking on the added responsibility that this new role has given me, and look forward to working with a great team of people this season and beyond.

“I’d like to thank our marketing team and the rest of my colleagues across the club for their continued support with our media output.”

With our crowds continuing to grow, Nathan’s appointment as our Match Day Operations Manager will strengthen our match day team and ensure we can provide the best possible experience for all attending The Optima Stadium.

Nathan has previous experience in managing large and complex venues. He shared PA announcing duties at The Optima Stadium last season with Tim Clarke.

Commenting on his appointment, Nathan said: “I am excited to take on the role of Match Day Operations Manager at Weston-super-Mare AFC.

“I enjoyed my time on the PA last season, and I’m looking forward to supporting the club from my new role.”
