Left-back George Nurse’s loan has been extended for the next month, as well as centre-back Tom Harrison joining on loan for the next month from Bristol City.
Nurse has made 30 appearances for the Seagulls and has scored three goals in a Weston shirt, his goals coming against St Albans City, Salisbury and Slough.
Upon extending his loan, Nurse said “I’m really happy to be extending my loan here at Weston for another month. I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far and it’s really helped me in my development as a player. I’m looking forward to the games coming up, and trying to get the club up the table where they deserve to be”.
Centre-back Tom Harrison is the latest addition to the Weston squad. He signed his first professional contract with Bristol City in February 2018, while part of the U18s setup at Ashton Gate. Last summer, the defender, who is capable of playing anywhere across the back four, joined the U23s squad and then in September 2018, he joined Hereford FC on a month-long loan. During his month at Edgar Street, Harrison played two games and was an unused substitute three further times.
On signing, Harrison said “I’m very happy to be joining Weston on loan. I’m really looking forward to the challenge”.
