Weston-super-Mare AFC can announce that target-man Mitchell Page has left the club by mutual consent.

Page joined the Seagulls from Paulton Rovers in September and, despite not registering in the goals column, gave a number positive showings in his brief stint at the club.

Unfortunately, personal commitments have prevented Page from being regularly available, and therefore both Mitchell and Weston boss Ryan Northmore have mutually agreed to part ways.

Northmore said: “Mitchell coming here didn’t work out quite as I’d hoped. Unfortunately the balance between football and other commitments couldn’t be found.

“He is a good guy and a good player and we wish him well in the future”, concluded Northmore.
