PITCH UPDATE AHEAD OF BEACONSFIELD GAME

Weston-super-Mare AFC wish to update supporters on the pitch at The Optima Stadium.

Due to fantastic work our groundsman Bob Flaskett and his support staff carry out, should the game have been due to have been played today, it would have been played without issue.

However, in light of tonight’s heavy rain forecast, we find it prudent to arrange a pitch inspection, by a suitably qualified referee, for tomorrow morning ahead of our Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South match at The Optima Stadium against Beaconsfield Town F.C.

We will notify all supporters of the result of the pitch inspection once it has been completed and all relevant parties have been informed.
