Callum spent time growing up in the youth academies of Monmouth Town, Cardiff City and West Bromwich Albion before joining the academy of Hereford FC.

He progressed into the under-18s setup ahead of the 2019-2020 season and made one appearance for the Bulls first-team that season in a Herefordshire FA cup game, scoring two goals and assisting three.

During the summer of 2019, he trained with Southern League Division One South side Cinderford Town and eventually joined them on loan from Hereford in October of that year. He went on to score one and assist one in 12 games, being named an unused substitute five times.

In November 2020, Callum got his break when signing for Bristol City following a successful trial, joining their under-18s side. Despite his tender age, he helped the under-23s win the Professional Development League Two South in 2021.

The young defender signed on loan for National League South side Bath City in July 2021, making his mark at Twerton Park and was awarded the Romans’ Player of the Month for December 2021. During his time playing under Jerry Gill, he assisted one goal in 18 games before being recalled in February 2022.

He helped Bristol City under-23s reach the PDL2 Play-Off Final in the 2021-2022 season, and then went on to spend the 2022 pre-season around their first team.

In November 2022, he signed for Southern League Premier South side Yate Town on a month’s loan, but his spell was only restricted to one game due to injury.

He rejoined Yate Town on loan for a month in February 2023, where he made two more appearances for the Bluebells.

Towards the end of the 2022-2023 season, he was named an unused substitute five times for Bristol City in Championship games under Nigel Pearson as his stock grew at Ashton Gate.

He has also been capped internationally at youth level for Wales, playing two games and being named an unused substitute once for their U19 squad during the 2021-2022 season.

He joined the Seagulls on loan in February 2024.
