Gethyn is a forward with a good frame, good goals record and good technical ability, he is excellent at defending and attacking set plays.
Having come through the ranks at Cardiff, Geth suffered a horrific leg injury in 2013 and failed to make the grade at Cardiff and upon release, found himself at Cinderford. Scoring goals for fun at the levels below Weston, Hill was identified as a goalscorer and Bartlett quickly spent part of his playing budget on the Welshman.
Hitting the ground running, Geth scored four goals in his first five games, before finding himself out of the team due to a change in formation as the season approached the spring months.
Hill scored two in two at Hereford during a months loan in August-September 2017, and upon return, he was like a new player, scoring 19 league goals and 20 in all competitions during 2017-2018 as he took on the scoring reins, however his season was hampered twice in the last month with a hamstring injury, the second occurrence coming minutes after netting his first Weston hat-trick against Oxford City in April 2018.
Due to his mild success, the striker was selected for Jamie Vardy’s successful V9 Academy to be run in June 2018, an academy set up by the striker to help propel players from Non-League into the Football League and the Scottish Premiership.
