PLUMMER DEPARTS THE WOODSPRING

Announced yesterday on the club’s social media, Tristan Plummer has left the club to join Southern Premier side Frome Town, which will allow him to play more locally.

The winger left in the summer for a couple of weeks before rejoining, making his first appearance in his new spell against St Albans City, appearing as a substitute. From the time of his signing, Plummer made nine appearances and was sent off once, in his last appearance against Coggeshall Town in the FA Cup Third Qualifying Round.

Frome currently compete in the Southern League South Division, and are currently floating above the relegation zone, two points ahead of 20th-placed Swindon Supermarine, with Frome in 18th. Plummer made his debut for Frome yesterday, appearing in a 2 – 1 defeat to Metropolitan Police.

We would like to wish Tristan all the best for the future, and hope to see the winger at a game soon!
