PREVIEW AND MATCH INFO: WESTON WELCOME METROPOLITAN POLICE
Weston welcome Metropolitan Police FC to The Optima Stadium this Saturday for the first competitive home fixture of the 2020/21 season, KO 3.00pm.
After a strong start to the season with a 3-1 win against Dorchester, the Seagulls place third in the table, with only Tiverton Town and Swindon Supermarine above them.
Met Police tied 1-1 with Yate Town in their first game which places them 10th in the table. With only 5 wins on the first weekend of the season, the table is currently split into three groups of points, with it all to play for this Saturday.
Weston head into this match on the back of a 5-0 win mid-week allowing them to progress to the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round. Goals from Knowles, Jagger-Cane, Humphries and Thomas secured the comfortable victory for the Seagulls.

FIND THE OPTIMA
Leave the M5 at Junction 21 and take the A370 towards Weston town centre. Continue across three roundabouts and at the 4th (where there is a McDonalds) turn left into Winterstoke Road. Go straight across the mini roundabout, over a railway bridge and you will see the ground on your right hand side.
We have a fair sized car park at the stadium however there are a limited amount of match day parking for Blue Badge holders these spaces must be booked in advance. If you are travelling by coach/mini bus please contact ahead of time to enquire about reserving a space.
