SEAGULLS BEGIN QUEST FOR FA TROPHY AT WOODSPRING

On Saturday, Scott Bartlett and his Seagulls will get their first taste of FA Trophy action together as they embark upon the dream that every footballer in this country craves, playing at Wembley, when they take on Dartford in the FA Trophy at the Woodspring Stadium as they join the competition at the Third Round Qualifying stage.

The Seagulls currently find themselves in a slight purple patch, having gone their last three games unbeaten, beating Larkhall Athletic in the Somerset Premier Cup, drawing against Gosport in the League and most recently beating Eastbourne in a 7 goal thriller away from home.

Dartford are currently hitting their stride as well, as their most recent results have shown. Winning 3-0 and 2-0 respectively and will be looking to return to this form having lost to Welling United on penalties in the Kent Senior Cup on Tuesday evening.

The two teams last meeting came four games in the new League season. Luke Wandio curled home a beauty to open the scoring before former loanee and current Bristol City striker Shawn McCoulsky equalised for the Seagulls. Ulitimately though, Ryan Hayes slotted the ball home to award all 3 points to Dartford.

Please note: 4th December sees a Fans Forum being held in the Function Room at the Woodspring, with Scott Bartlett, Chris Barker and an additional player, identity tbc. This is your chance to raise your points and to direct questions to the new management. We hope to see you there!
