SEAGULLS HEAD FOR SOUTH COAST THIS SATURDAY
Weston make the long journey to Eastbourne Borough on Saturday as they attempt to claw their way back to the teams that are ahead of them in the table.
Weston are still bottom after last week’s defeat, but Marc McGregor has appeared confident in the local press this week about surviving relegation if the side can put a run together. Jacob Cane returns from suspension, while Jake Lee is suspended following two yellow cards in the 2 – 3 loss to Billericay last Saturday.
Eastbourne are currently 14th in the league table having won their last two games, putting a halt to a run of five straight losses in all competitions. Eastbourne have been bolstered in the past couple of weeks by bringing in goalkeeper Sam Howes and striker Joe Quigley.
Last time these two sides met, Eastbourne won 0 – 1 at the Woodspring back in September. Substitute David Martin controlled and finished a Lloyd Dawes cross to score the only goal of the game in the 71st minute.
