SEAGULLS HOST IN-FORM STONES
Tomorrow evening, an in-form Wealdstone visit Weston, who are bound to be full of confidence after their 1 – 2 win at Torquay on Saturday.
Weston provided one of the shocks of the season on Saturday with a 1 – 2 win away at league leaders Torquay United, after having lost their last two games in the National League South. After a battling performance on Saturday, McGregor has the decision to stick or twist with his starting 11. Marlon Jackson could be in line to return after a minor hamstring injury.
Wealdstone are yet to lose a National League South game in 2019, unbeaten in the past 10 games. In Wealdstone’s impressive form, they have won five and drawn five as they now sit three points from the Playoff places. On Saturday, Wealdstone drew 0 – 0 away at Gloucester City, and before that drew 1 – 1 with Billericay.
Last time these two sides met was on the opening day of the season, with the Stones winning 4 – 1. Jake White scored within the first two minutes, before Dave Pratt scored not long after. Eli Phipps pulled one back from close range, but Bradley Hudson-Odoi increased the Stones’ lead on the half hour. Pratt then wrapped the win up late on to consign the Seagulls to an opening day defeat.
