SEAGULLS SOMERSET CUP MATCH CALLED OFF

A decision was made to have an early pitch inspection for this evening’s Somerset Cup game.

Unfortunately, the inspection has deemed the pitch unplayable. We have looked at reversing the fixture to the Woodspring Stadium on Wednesday but the heavy rain yesterday evening didn’t help at all. A further rearrangement will be made in conjunction with Wincanton Town and Somerset FA.

Edit: Somerset FA, ourselves and Wincanton Town FC now have to consider alternative dates to play the outstanding fixture at Wincanton. As information becomes available we will update via our social media.
The Braintree match has been scheduled to be played on Tue 27 March, KO 19:45.
