SEAGULLS START LEAGUE CAMPAIGN AT KINGS LANGLEY

Weston start the 2021/22 season with an away trip to The Orbital Fasteners Stadium where they’ll face Southern League South newcomers Kings Langley on Saturday 14th August, 3pm kick-off.

The Seagulls are looking to carry their excellent pre-season form into the league campaign after a run of eight games unbeaten with the most recent result being a 1-1 draw against National League Yeovil, Dayle Grubb netting a free kick for the Seagulls.

Kings Langley were 9th in the Southern League Central before the season was curtailed. The Seagulls’ opponents have had a mixed pre-season with wins against Northwood and a Watford XI, a draw against Leighton Town and losses against St Albans, Slough, Berkhamsted and Boreham Wood.

GETTING TO THE GROUND

Driving

Take exit 20 of the M25 and follow signs for the A4251. At the roundabout take the first exit and drive through Kings Langley High Street. After about one mile the ground will be on your right.

Parking

There is free parking at The Orbital Fasteners Stadium, but it is limited. Arrive early to give yourself the best chance of getting a space. There is plenty of street parking nearby, and the nearest public car park is a 15-minute walk away, just off the High Street. Please can you try to avoid parking on grass verges in the village.

Train

The nearest station to the ground is Apsley, which is on the West Coast Mainline. Trains from London Euston and Watford Junction run there every 30 minutes. The ground is a 25 minute walk from the station. When you come out from the station turn right and walk along London Road and then Hempstead Road. The ground will be on your left.

The club also runs a minibus shuttle service. The club minibus will be in the station car park and will depart at 1:30 on a Saturday. This service is free of charge.

AT THE GROUND

Bar

The 2Brews bar is situated inside the ground and is serving drinks throughout the day. There is a range of both alcoholic and soft beverages available. With a pint costing £3.50.

The bar is open before the game and after the game.

Food

The food truck is open before and during the game serving hot food, soft drinks, sweets, chocolate and crisps. At half time the truck can get very busy.
