SEAGULLS TRAVEL TO HERTFORDSHIRE FOR RELEGATION ZONE CLASH
On Saturday, Weston travel to bottom of the table, Bishop Stortford, as they seek their first league win since 13th August.
Last time out, Weston fell to an undeserving loss against high flying Hampton & Richmond, with Weston able to hold Hampton equally for 75 minutes before Hampton struck twice late on to secure the three points. And with this being the first game without Clayton Fortune, players will be looking to step up and be counted with the potential Captaincy being available.
Bishops Stortford have had a poor start to the season, with 8 points from the 16 games played so far, and with a goal difference of -25, with 9 goals scored and 34 goals conceded, attacking players such as Brad Ash, Kaid Mohamed, Dayle Grubb and Joe McClennan will be tempted to try their luck from whatever angle to get their names on the scoresheet.
When asked about the game, Head Coach Scott Bartlett commented: “We are looking forward to the game and will be working hard in training to make sure we are fully prepared for Bishop’s Stortford”.
Available Squad: Ash, Baldwin, Barker, Bird, Cane, Grubb, Humphries, Irwin, Ingram, Kington, Kingston, Laird, McClennan, Meechan, Moran, Pope, Powell, Purnell, Withey.
