The Seagulls continue their pre season preparations as they travel to Slimbridge on Tuesday 3rd August, 7:45PM KO.

The Seagulls remain unbeaten after an excellent display against Swansea U23s with Ben Whitehead getting on the scoresheet in his eagerly anticipated return from injury.

Weston’s opponents Slimbridge have had mixed fortunes this season with a convincing win over Fairford Town, two draws against Brimscombe & Thrupp and Yate Town and most recently a 1-0 defeat at home to Taunton Town.

Scott Bartlett said ahead of Tuesday’s encounter:

I think it’ll be our toughest test.

“We’ve earmarked it as one of those sticky games that we come across a lot in our league so we’ve put this game in place.

“We’ve got to travel but it’s not a million miles so we won’t have a coach which can happen during the season so we can replicate a league game on Tuesday night and we’re looking forward to seeing how we come out of that.”

The sides last met at this time last season with Weston coming out 2-1 victors, youngster Bailey Kempster grabbing the winner.
