SEAGULLS WELCOME GARY JOHNSON’S GULLS
On Tuesday evening, Weston will host Torquay United, as Weston look to get their first three points of the season with October almost over.
Weston’s dismal start to the league campaign goes on, still on two points and not picked up a point in the league since 25th August. Head coach Marc McGregor will be hoping that last season’s top goalscorer Gethyn Hill is over the illness that left him out of Saturday’s defeat to Concord Rangers, while Jacob Cane nears full fitness and Eli Phipps may return from injury. Tristan Plummer serves the final game of his suspension.
Ever since Gary Johnson replaced Gary Owers at Torquay, the veteran manager has helped turn the Devon club’s fortunes around, with the Gulls now pushing for a Playoff spot as they sit 5th in the table. Torquay are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions, and after their 0 – 3 win away to Wealdstone at the weekend, they will be buoyed upon their trip to the Woodspring.
The game will kick off at 19:45 at the Woodspring Stadium. Ticket price are as follows: £12 for adults, £8 for concessions, £3 for U16s, U8s go free and £20 for a family ticket.
