WESTON WELCOME LEAGUE LEADERS

Tonight, the Seagulls welcome the league leaders Tiverton Town to The Optima Stadium.

Weston have lost their last two league games but are yet to lose at home in the league so far this campaign. Last time out at home in the league, the Seagulls won 6-0 over Dorchester Town, a Scott Laird hat-trick the main talking point. Laird, Howe and Joel Randall all take on their former club this evening.

Tiverton Town sit top of the Southern Premier South with 29 points from 13 games, ahead of Truro City on goal difference. Tiverton have the best away record with 15 points from their six away fixtures, losing just the one on the road to Taunton Town 3-1. Tiverton recruited former Weston and Taunton right-back Pierce Mitchell before their game with Swindon Supermarine. Former Weston loanee Chris Shephard also plays for Tiverton, and Louis Cane, the brother of former Weston skipper Jacob, is on the Tiverton first-team books. They are jointly managed by former Weston loanee from 2004-2005, Scott Rogers.

The game kicks off on Tuesday 22nd October at 19:45pm, at The Optima Stadium. Ticket prices for the game are as follows: £11 Adults, £7 Concessions, £3 U16s, U8s go free. A family ticket costs £20.
