SEAGULLS WELCOME MARTYRS IN CUP CLASH
Tomorrow afternoon, Merthyr Town are the visitors to The Optima Stadium for the Emirates FA Cup Second Qualifying Round.
The Seagulls reached this round of the cup by beating Fareham Town at home a couple of weeks ago, a Nick McCootie brace and a Jay Malshanskyj opener sending Scott Bartlett’s men through with ease. The Seagulls will be buoyed by the recent addition of central midfielder George Dowling to the squad.
Merthyr Town made it through to this round with a 0-1 win over Western League side Plymouth Parkway, thanks to a goal from danger man Ian Traylor. In the league this season, Merthyr have struggled on the road, having only picked up three points from four games with a 1-2 win over Met Police.
The game kicks off on Saturday 21st September at 15:00 at The Optima Stadium. Ticket prices for the game is as follows: £11 Adults, £7 Concessions, £3 U16s, U8s go free and a family ticket costs £20. This game is an ALL PAY game.
