SEAGULLS WELCOME SALISBURY TO BS24
Tomorrow evening, Salisbury FC are the visitors at The Optima Stadium.
On Saturday, the Seagulls lost their unbeaten streak as they fell 2-1 away at Walton Casuals, conceding an 84th minute goal to consign them to defeat. Against Salisbury, Owen Howe takes on his former club, who he scored 14 goals for in the 2017/2018 season and Scott Laird makes his return from suspension.
Salisbury have only lost two games this season, on the opening day to Chesham United and against Met Police the Saturday just gone, and have won three out of their seven league games as they sit in seventh. Elliot Wheeler, Jake Wannell, Marcus Beauchamp and Gerard Benfield have been out with injury lately, while forward Shaquille Hippolyte-Patrick didn’t pass a late fitness test on Saturday. 17 year-old goalkeeper Tom Smith has extended his loan spell from Arsenal for another month.
The game kicks off at 19:45 at The Optima Stadium on Tuesday 17th September.
