Kevin Cooper, Co-Founder of Sellebrity Soccer, said:

“We are so thrilled to be back at Weston-super-Mare again after our last successful match in memory of Liam Shepherd.

“We are so pleased to keep Liam’s memory alive with what will be another fantastic match with some great names from TV and music.

“We can’t wait to see you there”.

Matt Bazell, Foundation Phase Manager at Weston-super-Mare AFC, said:

“I was lucky enough to coach Liam from the age of eight until he sadly passed away.

“He was one of the children who would be first at training asking if there was anything you could do to help and always the last to leave.

“He would always greet you with enthusiasm and be polite. He really was an infectious person to be around.

“Liam was the sort of child when he got given money for birthday, Christmas or any special occasion he would save that money to go and buy goodie bags for children in his school who weren’t as fortunate as he was.

“He would always put others before himself, and in today’s generation and especially in young children is a virtue that you cannot put a price on.

“Not a day goes by where I don’t think about the young lad, and I was very priviledged to have played in the last game with his name on the back of my shirt.

“I hope as many people can come to this game as they did the last one so we can show how much respect we have for this young man”.
