SWALLOW EXTENDS LOAN
Ben Swallow’s loan with Southern League Premier Division South side Merthyr Town has been extended until the end of the 2018-2019 season.
Since joining the side in the middle of January, the winger has featured regularly on the left side of a three-man attack and so far has made two substitute appearances before starting the past seven games, grabbing two assists for the Martyrs so far.
Merthyr have eight games remaining this season as they look to mount a late charge for the playoffs, but are 11 points behind and have a game in hand on the team still in 5th place, Poole Town. The Martyrs are 11th in the table, however, are only six points above the relegation zone.
