THE SEAGULLS HEAD TO TRURO CITY IN NATIONAL LEAGUE SOUTH CLASH

Weston are on the road for the first time in three weeks, as they make the journey to Truro City in the Vanarama National League South this Saturday, 23rd September. The match kicks off at 3pm.

The game comes just seven days after The Seagulls beat the White Tigers 2-0 at the Optima in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. Goals from summer signing Rex Mannings and top-scorer Marlon Jackson set up a tie in the next round against fellow National League South side Farnborough.

That win will have come as a relief and Scott Bartlett’s side will be looking for more of the same at Bolitho Park this Saturday.

The Seagulls have a good recent record in away games against Truro, as they are undefeated in their last four league visits to either the home of Plymouth Parkway or at the old Treyew Road ground in the heart of Cornwall.

As it stands, City are just three points clear of Weston and they will be looking to recover from last Saturday’s cup exit, so a good game in Plymouth lies in wait.
