Weston-super-Mare AFC can confirm the latest transfer activity from the club, with incomings and outgoings at the Optima Stadium.
The first signing for the Seagulls is striker Prince Henry, who joins on loan from Bristol City.
He featured in Tuesday night’s win over Frome Town in the Southern League Challenge Cup, scoring and assisting one goal.
The second incoming is fellow striker Adam Smith, who signs on loan from Oxford United.
The youngster also played the full 90 minutes in Tuesday’s game against Frome Town, scoring a brilliant goal 13 minutes into the second half on his debut.
The final incoming is left-sided defender Nathaniel Williams, on loan from Bristol City.
He also played the whole 90 minutes against Frome, putting in an accomplished performance for the Seagulls in defence to help ensure cup progression.
Young Weston winger Travis Yule-Turner has departed on loan, linking up with Southern League Division One South side Willand Rovers where he will play alongside Ben Griffith and Bailey Kempster.
The loan of Ben Whitehead at Cirencester Town has also been extended for the next month.
Commenting on the transfer news, Manager Scott Bartlett said:
It’s been a busy ten days or so and we are delighted to bring these boys in. They are all excellent additions in their own right and we are grateful to the clubs for allowing us to develop them within our environment.
“We have been a bit light squad wise and needed to add some depth for competition and also to allow our young players to gain valuable experience.
“We are also looking to add two more permanent signings and are in talks with their clubs at the moment.”
We would like to welcome the three new players to the club and wish Travis & Ben all the best with their respective clubs for the foreseeable future.
