U18’S LEAGUE FIXTURES CONFIRMED

The league fixtures for the Weston-super-Mare AFC Academy U18’s side have been confirmed ahead of the 2021/2022 season.

Development Phase Manager Craig Graham and Coaches Louis and Lloyd Dean have been put in charge of the new-look U18s team for the forthcoming season, competing in the Western Counties Floodlight Youth League Premier Division.

The league fixtures are as follows:

6th September – Odd Down (H) (19:30)
16th September – Street FC (A) (19:30)
4th October – Winscombe (H) (19:30)
18th October – Bristol Manor Farm (A) (19:45)
25th October – Clevedon Town (H) (19:30)
1st November – Mangotsfield (A) (19:45)
8th November – Mangotsfield (H) (19:30)
22nd November – Odd Down (A) (19:30)
29th November – Street FC (H) (19:30)
14th December – Winscombe (A) (19:30)
3rd January – Bristol Manor Farm (H) (19:30)
10th January – Clevedon Town (A) (19:45)

All fixtures are subject to change.

The Western Counties Floodlight Youth League consists of four divisions (Premier, North, Central and South), with it being one of three competitions the Weston U18s side competes in over the length of the season.

As well as the league, the side plays in the FA Youth Cup, of which they travel to Cheltenham Saracens on 30th August in the Preliminary Round, kickoff at 19:00. The side also feature in the Roger Stone Memorial Cup, a league cup for all the sides registered to the four Western Counties Floodlight Youth League.

For U18 games at The Optima Stadium, ticket prices are as follows:

£3 Adults,
£2 Concessions (60+, Student ID, Armed Forces ID, NHS ID)
£1 U16s (Accompanied by an adult)
Free for U8s (Accompanied by an adult)
Season ticket holders get free access to U18 home LEAGUE games
