U19S LEAGUE FIXTURES CONFIRMED

The league fixtures for the National League Youth Alliance have now been confirmed for the new 2022-2023 season.

Instead of the National League South Division this season, the Seagulls will compete in the more regionalised ‘Division G’.

Mark McKeever’s side begin with a trip to Stourbridge on the 14th September, before hosting Kidderminster Harriers on Matchday 3 at the end of September.

The most local game for the side sees us take on Gloucester City, with the away fixture on 2nd November before hosting them on 8th February 2023.

The final game of the campaign sees Stourbridge visit The Optima on the 26th April.

The U19s play their league fixtures on the Optima 3G, with a couple of fixtures on the main pitch penned in during the season.

Entry to the U19s games are free of charge for supporters.

On the U19s schedule, Head of Senior Phase Mark McKeever said:

It’s been a very good pre-season so far with some great quality and competition for places.

“Already, we’ve seen Brandon Bak get some first team exposure and we’re hopeful that he will be the first of many.

“Others are gaining first team experience with local senior clubs which is great for their development.

“For example, Liam Graham, Oscar Collins and Callum Black have all featured for Cheddar first team in the early part of the season and we hope to keep building these links with local clubs.

“Myself and all the senior phase staff are very much looking forward to the season ahead”.
