WESTON ACADEMY OPEN UP NEW PLACES IN U13S TEAM
Weston-super-Mare AFC Academy have opened up a limited number of spaces in their U13s team.
The team train on The Optima Stadium 3G, on Mondays 7:00pm – 8:00pm and Thursdays 5:00pm – 6:00pm.
The academy has received record investment over the last 24 months, appointing Head of Academy Simon Panes and Head of Coaching Mark Mckeever, who is also the club’s Head of Senior Phase.
U13s Manager, Lewis Mclean, said: “I am delighted to open up some additional places in our U13s squad for the upcoming season.
“Playing in their first year of 11-a-side will have it’s challenges but at Weston-super-Mare AFC Academy, we will be working hard to develop players technical and tactical elements to assist them in this phase of their development and progression through the Weston-super-Mare AFC pathway.
We are looking for talented players to add to our team which will be playing in the Junior Premier League, playing against some of the best teams regionally and nationally, this is an excellent opportunity and environment for players to improve and thrive.”
