WESTON BACK IN LEAGUE ACTION AT CHESHAM UNITED
Weston make a quick return to Southern League Premier South action as they head to Chesham United this Tuesday, 28th March. The game at The Meadow kicks off at 7:45pm.
The Seagulls will be looking to bounce back from Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at North Leigh, only Weston’s second league defeat on the road this season.
The Generals were also in action on Saturday, as they also returned home empty-handed after their 1-0 loss at Met Police. That defeat for United made them slip down to fifth in the table, meaning they now occupy the final play-off place as it stands.
Prior to that, in Chesham’s last home fixture, The Generals beat Plymouth Parkway by four goals to nil. That win was the only win in nine league games for Michael Murray and James Duncan’s side.
Chesham are one of the few sides to have beaten Weston this season, after their 3-1 win at the Optima back in October, as Jordan Edwards scored a brace for the visitors that evening.
Another tough game awaits for The Seagulls in Buckinghamshire this Tuesday, as both sides look for a positive result to boost their respective promotion aspirations.
