WESTON HEAD TO ST. ALBANS IN SEARCH OF THEIR FIRST LEAGUE POINTS

Weston make the journey to Clarence Park, the home of St. Albans on Saturday, seeking their first win of the league season.

The Seagulls have lost their opening two games in the National League South and will be looking to get their first points on the board when they visit St. Albans.

Versatile midfielder/striker Archie Collins has been added to the squad after making his debut on Monday night against Hungerford Town.

St. Albans have won their opening two games, managing to dispatch Oxford and Wealdstone. The hosts for Saturday’s fixture have added some good players to their squad over the summer, with former Luton striker Zane Banton making his loan move permanent.

Ever since City returned to the National League South in 2014, they have won five of their six league fixtures against the Seagulls, including two 3-0 wins last campaign.

Rob Boyd, Assistant Coach, said ahead of the trip, “We are looking to get off the mark tomorrow, St. Albans will be a stern test but the confidence amongst the squad is good.”
