WESTON TRAVEL TO FARNBOROUGH

The battle for a play-off spot continues as Weston travel to Farnborough on Saturday 19th March, 3pm kick-off.

The Seagulls come into this game off the back of a hard-fought 1-1 draw away at Chesham. A first Seagulls goal for loanee Elis Watts gave Weston the lead before Chesham equalised shortly before half time.

Farnborough most recently travelled to Gloucestershire as they took on Yate Town. Despite defeat at home to Yate just a month prior, the ‘Boro came away with a 2-0 away victory.

The table sees the two sides separated by just 3 places with just 8 games to play. Weston are three points behind the play offs, having played a game less than Chesham.

The last time the two sides met was back in January. A competitive game under the lights saw both sides have to settle for a point. Weston came from behind through goals from the boot of Dayle Grubb and the head of Keiran Thomas but could not hold on as Farnborough struck late, late on.
