WESTON WELCOME BRISTOL ROVERS DEVELOPMENT SQUAD
This Tuesday, the Seagulls welcome a Bristol Rovers development squad to the Woodspring Stadium as their preparations for the 2018-2019 season continue.
So far, Weston are unbeaten in pre-season, having beat Brimscombe & Thrupp 3 – 4 as well as drawing against Forest Green Rovers in a 6 – 6 goal-fest. New signings Ben Swallow and Jamie Lucas will look to continue their lively performances whereas the Seagulls defenders will be hoping to tighten up after facing Christian Doidge and co. on Friday night.
The Bristol Rovers development squad have used their fair share of trialists throughout preseason and will be hoping that some of them will shine through in order to gain a contract. For players who have already tied down their future with the Gas, it will be vital experience against a National League South side. Rovers have recently signed Ash Harper, who was on loan at the Woodspring Stadium last season.
KO time is 19:45, at the Woodspring Stadium. Ticket prices are £12 for adults, £8 for concessions and £3 for U16s. Tickets are half price for anyone with a 2018-2019 Seagulls season ticket.
