Weston-super-Mare AFC are delighted to announce that defender Nat Williams has returned to The Optima Stadium on a permanent basis after a loan spell during the previous campaign.
Nat spent three months on loan from Bristol City in the 2021-2022 campaign, making 12 appearances and assisting one goal during his time on loan from the Robins.
The left-footed defender was released by his hometown club last summer, a side he had been at since the age of eight, and now returns to the club where he gained his first experience of senior football.
Manager Scott Bartlett said:
Nat is well known to us after his spell last season and we are happy to have him back.
“He has a lot of good attributes and with so many games coming up, it was too good an opportunity not to strengthen defensively.
“The lads have been brilliant but with Kieran (Thomas) back in full training and Nat rejoining, that gives us a solid base and a bit more depth.”
Everyone at the club welcomes Nat back to BS24 and wishes him all the best while pulling on the Seagulls shirt.
