SEAGULLS YOUNG FLOCK – FA YOUTH CUP ASHTON & BACKWELL – GAME PREVIEW

Jake Mawford’s U18 side will take to the pitch again tonight (Tuesday 2oth KO 7:30pm) away to Ashton & Backwell in the FA Youth Cup, with their place in the next round at stake.

With striker Jamie Irwin currently on fire after scoring a hat-trick last time out against Radstock Town, and Sol Wanjau-Smith determined to continue impressing with his current form, a hungry Seagulls side will be sure-fire favourites to progress.

The two sides previously met at the same venue back in January, where currently injured winger Lewis McLean netted the winner for his first U18 goal alongside former CAM Patrick Riddell, also scoring on his debut for the Seagulls.

So with a place in the next round at stake, will Mawford’s Young Flock storm through or wilt in the face of pressure?
